Description

What does it mean to be a champion? In sports we talk about individuals and teams that have risen to the top of their profession. They win a World Series, a Super Bowl. But there is more to being a champion than having athletic skills. Champions rise to the top no matter what their profession. They set the bar; they set the tone. They are number one. That is why the theme for our conference this year is “Creating Champion Call Centers.” This theme runs from our first pre-conference sessions “Strategic Planning and Budgeting to Meet Future Consumer Needs: Tools You Can Use”–Advanced and “Just Getting Started: A Comprehensive Call Center Primer for New Leaders” to our final panel presentation “Moving Forward: Call Center Leaders Talk About their Best Practices, Challenges and Future Initiatives.” By the end of the conference you will be able to take away concrete ideas that will help you be that champion call center and enhance your value to your healthcare organization.

The conference will be held at the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta, an upscale hotel in the heart of Buckhead, one of Atlanta’s premier neighborhoods.  Atlanta is home to the some of this country’s most prominent cultural, entertainment and recreational institutions such as The Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, the Georgia Aquarium (the world’s largest), the College Football Hall of Fame and the High Museum of Art.  Atlanta is widely known as a city in an urban forest with numerous opportunities for hiking, walking and biking through stunning neighborhoods and parks.

The hotel has offered us conference rates of $209 single or double. These rates apply through Monday, May 20, 2019, after which reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the best prevailing rate. You can  Book Your Room Online, or contact Intercontinental hotel reservations at 404-946-9191 or 877-422-8254. Indicate that you are reserving your room for the 31st Annual Conference of Healthcare Call Centers. Check in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is noon. The hotel is providing complimentary usage of guest room Internet services.

Atlanta is one of the country’s easiest cities to travel to as the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is the world’s largest, with numerous flights to and from just about every major city in the nation. Additionally, the hotel is located on the North Springs MARTA rapid transit line that begins right in the Airport.
